One of the renowned filmmakers in Bollywood Mahesh Bhatt remains in news for different reasons. News is spread all over that Mahesh Bhatt has undergone heart surgery. The reports claimed that the Arth director's health declined, owing to which he had to be taken to a nearby hospital where he underwent an angioplasty. The reports claimed that the filmmaker went for a routine check-up where it was suggested that he might need a surgery. The surgery was conducted four days ago. Mahesh's son Rahul Bhatt also reportedly confirmed the reports about the health condition and added that that his father was admitted to the hospital earlier this week where he underwent a heart surgery. He also said that Mahesh is back home now and recovering fast. He said"But all's well that ends well. He is alright now and back home. I cannot give you more details as too many people were not allowed in the hospital," However Mahesh Bhatt in a recent interview declines Heart Surgery reports and said, “It’s technically incorrect to call this procedure a surgery. Surgery is where they use the knife. Angioplasty is a bloodless common procedure. It takes half hour and a mandatory stay in the ICU and then one is discharged the next day.” On the work front, Mahesh Bhatt is all set for the release of his next film titled '1920: Horrors of Heart'. The film has been written by him and it will mark the Bollywood debut of television fame Avika Gor.’ If reports are to be believed, it will star Randheer Rai opposite Avika, The film is being produced by Vikram Bhatt and directed by his daughter Krishna Bhatt.
