In a recent interview, the Bajirao Mastani actress was asked if she was expecting the kind of reaction she received after becoming a mom. She said, “I’ve developed a tough hide when people talk about me.” She further accept is does affect her, “But it’s so painful when they talk about my daughter. I’m like, ‘Keep her out of it.’
She further speaks about how she does not want her daughter to be a part of Gossip. She said, “I know what it felt like to hold her little hands when they were trying to find her veins. So no, she’s not going to be gossip. I’ve been really protective of this chapter of my life with my daughter. Because it’s not about my life only. It’s hers too.”
On the personal front, Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with singer Nick Jonas in Rajasthan in December 2018. The couple announced the news of their daughter's birth via a surrogate in January 2022. They brought their baby girl home from the hospital after 100 days in NICU, as she was born a trimester before the due date.
On the work front, Priyanka is all set for he film It's All Coming Back To Me. She will also feature in the series Citadel, produced by Russo Brothers. It will hit the OTT on Prime Video. The upcoming sci-fi drama series is being directed by Patrick Morgan and stars Richard Madden alongside Priyanka. She also has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.’
