Ajay Devgan's much awited 'Maidan' teaser is out. 'Maidaan' is the actual story of an unknown hero who established history and records for India that, even 60 years later, we are still unable to match in the world's most popular sport, football. It takes us to the 'Golden Age of Football,' which lasted from 1952 to 1962. The teaser opens with a look at the Indian football squad in 1952, after they qualified for the Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. As the teaser ends with Ajay's dialogue, 'Aaj maidaan mein utarna gyarah lekin dikhna ek." One can see hints of some of the team's concerns. Ajay also shared the teaser on his instagram account and wrote, "#Maidaan mein utrenge Gyarah par dikhenge Ek. A True Story. Teaser out now." Fans also started reacting to the post as it was out, one fan wrote, “1:12 "Aaj Maidaan mein utarana 11,dikhna 1". Best dialogue till now. This movie is gonna be amazing.” Another fan wrote, “Ajay Devgan and his selection of script A true gem of Indian cinema.. Watching him from childhood to now an era of his own .. That last Shot OMG Goosebumps..” Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla, screenplay and dialogues are written by Saiwyn Quadras and Ritesh Shah respectively, Music is by AR Rahman. The film is all set to release worldwide in theatres on 23rd June 2023. Bholaa is Ajay's fourth film as a director after U, Me aur Hum in 2008, Shivaay in 2016, and Runway 34 in 2022.
