India: Famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan has gotten relief from the High Court. Dismissing the summons issued against Salman by the Andheri Metropolitan Court, the High Court has dismissed the entire case. In the year 2019, Salman Khan was accused of misbehaving and threatening a journalist. This decision has been given by the single bench of Justice Bharti Dangre.

Salman Khan was accused of threatening journalist Ashok Pandey. For your information, let us tell you that Ashok Pandey was making a video of Salman Khan in Andheri when Salman and his bodyguard allegedly misbehaved with him. However, the High Court has given a big relief to Salman Khan by dismissing these allegations.

A local court in Mumbai had issued summons to Salman Khan and his bodyguard Nawaz Shaikh on March 22, 2022, in connection with a 2019 dispute. Metropolitan Magistrate R. R. Khan, in his order, had pointed out that in the police complaint filed in connection with the case, charges have been leveled against him under Indian Penal Code sections 504 (causing insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation). However, due to the hearing of the case in court, Salman Khan sought an exemption from appearance, which was accepted.
