Nagpur: A major accident has come to light on the Nagpur-Umred highway of Maharashtra, in which 7 people died while another was seriously injured. The accident is being told near Umargaon. According to the news, there was a head-on collision between the Tavera SUV and the truck in which 7 persons who were traveling in Tavera died on the spot. At the same time, one person has been seriously injured. The injured have been taken to the Government Hospital in Nagpur for treatment. The same is being said that Tavera was coming towards Nagpur from Umred around 10.30 pm on Friday night. Due to this, Tavera collided with the truck near Umargaon. The collision was so dangerous that the front of the Tavera was badly damaged. The deceased include 6 men and 1 woman. All are said to be relatives among themselves. The Nagpur-Umred highway was blocked for a few hours after the accident. Vehicles queued up on both sides of the highway. On the other hand, after getting information about the accident, the police reached the spot. The police removed the crashed vehicles from the road through a crane, after which the traffic became smooth. The deceased have been identified as Ashwin Gedam, Sneha Bhujade, Ashish Bhujade, Sagar Shende, Naresh Dongre, Padmakar Bhalerao and Meghna Patil. All of them were residents of Bezhanbagh area of Nagpur.
