Mamta Banerjee got angry on stopping daughter-in-law Rujira from going to Dubai

Kolkata: Rujira Narula Banerjee, wife of Trinamool Congress MP and CM Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee, was going to Dubai with her two children on Monday (June 5). However, Rujira was reportedly stopped from boarding the flight. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said that her mother was ill after she was stopped from travelling to Dubai. Mamata said that this is being done to divert attention from the train accident.

On June 8, Rujira Banerjee was summoned for questioning at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office at CJO Complex in Kolkata in connection with the coal smuggling case. TMC supremo and CM Mamata Banerjee attacked the central government on this matter, saying, 'Rujira's mother is very ill. It was said that if Rujira ever goes out, inform the ED once. Then ED could have said that you can't go now, but the notice is being served at the airport.'

CM Mamata further said that she is being asked to appear on June 8 at the airport. Inhuman things are happening. Talking about the train accident in Balasore, CM Banerjee said, "On the one hand, there is a debate, there is no shame, there is shame. No mercy. This is a race on how to get people into a debate and hide it."
