Mamata Banerjee's sharpest weapon against BJP in Birbhum

Kolkata: Legislative Assembly is proposed next year in West Bengal. In such a situation, the political temperature of the state is continuously increasing. A series of allegations and counter-allegations have started between the BJP and the ruling Trinamool Congress. In this series, CM Mamta Banerjee took out a rally in Bolpur in Birbhum district on Tuesday. In the rally, he attacked the BJP fiercely.

Targeting the BJP at the rally, Mamta Banerjee said, those who do not respect Mahatma Gandhi and other great men of the country, talk of making 'Sonar Bangla'. Conspiracies are being hatched to destroy the culture of Bengal. 'Stop the politics of violence and divisive politics. I do not like the derogatory remarks against Vishwa Bharati.'

Taking a dig at the current home minister and former BJP president Amit Shah and other BJP leaders for eating food at Adivasi's home, Mamta said that they come, eat five-star food and tell that they have eaten at Adivasi's home. On the recent defection by some TMC leaders, Mamata Banerjee said, 'You can buy some MLAs but not TMC. It does not matter if some MLAs leave the party, the public is with us.
