Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb has said that Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee should not become the CM of West Bengal "morally" as she has lost the Nandigram seat in the recent state assembly elections. Even after Mamata Banerjee lost the Nandigram seat to BJP's Shuvendu officer, the TMC registered a landslide victory in 213 seats in the 294-member West Bengal Assembly. Shubendu was once very close to Mamata Banerjee. Addressing a press conference at the BJP office protesting against the alleged violence in Bengal, he claimed that bjp lost some assembly elections but the party's vote share has increased. He said many people have become CM without contesting elections, but Mamata Banerjee contested from Nandigram and lost. On the ground that people have not chosen him, morally he should keep himself away from the CM's post. He said Mamata Banerjee is claiming that she was conspired against. Deb said there would also be a conspiracy behind the election victory if there was a conspiracy behind the defeat. The Tripura CM claimed that violence is taking place in West Bengal after the elections in which at least five BJP workers were killed. He alleged that BJP supporters are being attacked in the state through TMC goons. Bjp office, BJP supporters' shops are being brutalised.
