Trader end life,suicide note claims denial of ticket by BSP

Lucknow: A trader has committed suicide in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. According to the information received, he committed suicide for not getting the ticket to contest the election. Police say that a suicide note has also been found from the person in which he has accused the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) of demanding Rs 2 crore for the ticket.

The suicide note of the deceased has become a subject of rapid headlines at this time. The case is being reported from Maharajganj village in Sadar Kotwali area. Here a municipality and BSP leader Munnu Thathera committed suicide on Tuesday night. In the suicide note which has come out, in the year 2022, he was asked to give Rs 2 crore to BSP for contesting elections. It is being told that the relatives of the deceased say that he was associated with the BSP since 1987. In this regard, the wife and daughter of the deceased told the police that the handwriting in the suicide note belongs to the deceased.

Family members also said that Munnu expressed his desire to contest the election. The family told the police that last year, they had talked to a BSP leader over the phone to contest the election. In this case, the daughter of the deceased told the police that there was talk of a ticket for the assembly elections to be held in 2022. He was also assured of a ticket. Now in this case the police say that 'the investigation of the case is going on and it is too early to reach any conclusion before the investigation is complete'.
