Jamshedpur: A husband was killed in a dispute between three wives in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district. Police have revealed the murder of Ladu Haiburu at Gudabanda in Jamshedpur. According to the police, the murder was committed due to a quarrel between Ladoo's three wives. According to police, the skeleton of the deceased was seized from a well in the Naxal-infested area of the Dumaria police station area. He went missing on March 16, but his family did not file any police case. Senior Superintendent of Police M Tamil Vanan said an investigation was launched on a rumour and it was found that he had gone missing after a dispute with the brother of one of his wives. He said he had a fight with his brother-in-law over his third marriage. He said that initially Ladoo's family was reluctant to talk about him but the police took his mother Nandi into confidence and a case was registered on the basis of her statement. The officer said that on Friday, his brother-in-law and three other persons were nabbed, following which, the skeleton of Haiburu was seized from a Naxal-infested place, about 10 km from his house in Madotolia village under Ghorbanda police station of Ghatsila sub-division. When the police interrogated Ladoo for years, the case came to light. Ladoo was accused of assault by his first wife. Ladoo married to 3 women, but his behaviour with two was fine, but not one. With this, a panchayat was convened in the house of the third wife and Ladu was picked up from the panchayat itself by the in-laws and then killed.
