Manickam Tagorefiled an adjournment notice in the parliament today, demanding that the Chinese military's incursion into Indian territory be discussed. "Sir, I hereby give notice of my intention to ask for leave to move a motion for the adjournment of the business of the house for the purpose of discussing a definite matter of urgent importance, namely - to discuss the intrusion of Chinese military into Indian Territory and direct the Government to take immediate action to prevent intrusion," Manickam Tagore wrote to the Secretary-General of the Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, in the Rajya Sabha, CPI (M) MP Dr V Sivadasan has given a suspension of business notice under rule 267 to debate the country's escalating inflation. The Parliament's winter session began on November 29 and is expected to end on December 23.
