Patna: Six people have lost their lives and 12 people are said to be injured in a chimney blast in Raxaul, Bihar. About 20 people are also missing. On receiving the information, the fire brigade and police team reached the spot. Rescue operations are underway to find the trapped workers. It is worth mentioning that on Friday evening, an explosion took place in the chimney due to a fire in a brick kiln in Narirgir in Ramgarhwa police station of the Raxaul subdivision. Due to this, 6 workers died and 12 workers are also said to be injured. This includes the chimney owner. It is reported that many workers were buried under the debris after the blast. As soon as the news was received, about ten vehicles of the fire department, police team, and ambulance reached the spot. Rescue operations were launched to rescue the injured and admitted to the hospital as well as to remove the workers trapped in the debris. The injured persons are undergoing treatment at SRP Hospital. It is said that at the time of the accident, there were about 50 people near the chimney.
