Maruti: 2500 workers arrived at the plant on the first day

Production has started again at the Manesar plant of the world's leading automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited. The first car was built on Tuesday after the lockdown. Production was stopped from March 22 at the Manesar and Gurugram plants by Maruti management. Now production has started again in Manesar plant after 50 days.

2,500 employees arrived at the plant on the first day. The number of employees is expected to increase further from Wednesday. Right now work has started here in single shift (from 9 am to 5 pm). On the first day, there was a lot of enthusiasm among the employees who arrived at work. Taking care of physical distance, all the employees who came to work were allowed inside the plant.

In view of Covid-19, according to the guidelines of the Union Home Ministry, complete arrangements have been made inside the plant. Currently, production has not started in the Gurugram plant yet. It is expected to start production from May 18 here. Maruti chairman RC Bhargava has already said that the production process will be progressed slowly at Maruti's Manesar plant. With the commencement of work at Maruti's Manesar plant, there has been a positive message in the automobile sector across the country.
