McDonald's 7 employee test positive for corona, company stops work

New Delhi: Recently, after a pizza delivery boy was found to be corona infected, common people are afraid to order food items from outside. Meanwhile, news is coming that seven workers of the burger-selling multinational company McDonald's have been found corona infected. The incident is from Singapore. After its employees got infected here, the company stopped its operation temporarily.

According to news agency PTI, the decision by McDonald's to cease operations will also be effective on the drive-through (facilities for unloading vehicle orders) and delivery operations. While the company has stopped its takeaway (bringing food from the restaurant packed) service since Saturday. The company said in a release that on the advice of the Health Ministry, it has decided to discontinue its restaurants, delivery and drive-through operations till May 4.

The company's Singapore managing director Kenneth Chan said, "This is a time of crisis for all of us." We have taken as many precautionary steps as we could to protect the health of our customers and employees. We will continue our efforts to reduce the spread of coronavirus infection.
