CM of this state is in isolation after experiencing COVID symptoms

Conrad Sangma, the chief minister of Meghalaya, has placed himself in isolation after developing COVID symptoms. According to sources, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma would undergo a COVID-19 test.

The statehood day celebration in Shillong was opened by deputy CM Prestone Tynsong due to the absence of Meghalaya's chief minister. Conrad Sangma was a virtual member in the programme.

On Friday, the Meghalaya chief minister met with Ami Shah and Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in New Delhi.
