Mehre Alam arrested for bomb blast in PM Modi's Patna rally, 10 years ago the attack took place, 6 people died

Patna: Mehre, accused of the bomb blast in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting, has been arrested by STF of Muzaffarpur Darbhanga in a joint operation. The search for the infamous Mehre Alam, who escaped from NIA's custody, was going on on a war footing. Let me tell you that in 2013, Mehre and his accomplices terrorized Patna Gandhi Maidan by bombing Narendra Modi's meeting when Modi was giving a speech there. Mahmood Alam, the father of the accused, has confirmed the arrest.

According to the report, the accused Mehre Alam was arrested by STF on Saturday night from Singhauli village under Ashok Paper Mill police station area of ​​Darbhanga. Earlier NIA had nabbed him, but he had escaped by dodging the agency in the hotel. After the absconding, the police had lost their sleep. Mahmood Alam, father of the absconding accused, told that around 6 pm on Saturday Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur police came and arrested him and took him with them. Earlier, the NIA had arrested him in connection with the Gandhi Maidan bomb blast and investigated his role. After interrogation, the NIA was taking him along with him as a witness. On his trail, raids were being conducted to nab the other suspects. Meanwhile, he escaped by dodging. 

Let us inform that there was a rally of Narendra Modi on 27 October 2013 at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. At that time Narendra Modi used to be the CM of Gujarat. On that day, 6 people were killed and 82 were injured in several bomb blasts at Gandhi Maidan and Patna Junction. Its FIR number 612/13 was registered on 30 October 2013, Mehre Alam was made an accused by the NIA in the blast case.
