The Met ministry has issued a warning that cyclone Yaas may turn into a very severe cyclone in the next 24 hours. Yas is scheduled to reach the coast of Bengal and Odisha on Wednesday. People have been sent to safer places to avoid heavy devastation after the cyclone hit them. The Home Department has assured all the states affected by cyclone Yas that the Ministry is going to be ready 24 hours a day to help them. In addition, The Indian Meteorological Ministry has informed that cyclone Yaas will hit the coasts of north Odisha and Bengal on the afternoon of May 26.
