NEW DELHI: Mike Hesson has rejected the offer offered by Pakistan and Bangladesh. These teams had offered them the post of coach. Mike Hesson has been the coach of the New Zealand cricket team. He applied for the head coach of Team India. In the race, he will take on current coach Ravi Shastri and former Australian cricketer Tom Moody. The Cricket Advisory Committee, led by former Team India cricketer and captain Kapil Dev, who won the first World Cup for the team, retained Ravi Shastri as the coach of the Indian team. The committee, which is headed by Anshuman Gaikwad and Shanta Rangaswamy, had categorically said that the fight between Mike Hesson and Ravi Shastri was very tough for the post. The committee had put Ravi Shastri first, Mike Hesson second and Tom Moody third. After failing to become team India's coach, Hesson had received an offer from the Pakistan and Bangladesh Cricket Board to become a coach. Hesson has turned down these offers. Interestingly, though, he did not apply to be the coach of the two countries. He was only interested in becoming the coach of Team India. Mike Hesson played a key role in helping New Zealand reach the 2015 World Cup finals. Also Read: Ronaldo made this big reveal with Messi!
