Minister K.T.Rama Rao spoke about the government's relief efforts in Telangana

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao said the state government decided to help the people affected by the coronavirus-induced lockdown and later in the state, especially in the state capital.

Speaking to the media, KT Rama Rao said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and other ministers discussed the economic situation of the Covid-19 epidemic people, as well as the governmentand the cabinet meeting on Friday. "It was decided to provide more help to the people. Accordingly, the Chief Minister has asked for necessary steps to provide more relief to the victims," the minister said.

Flood affected families in GHMC and 15 other municipalities, which have not received Rs 10,000 flood relief announced by the state government, can now get help by submitting an application through nearby service centres. When all relevant details are provided, the authorities confirm their authenticity and provide Rs 10,000 at their home or deposit the amount into their bank accounts. The state government has distributed over 470 crores to 4,75,871 families in GHMC.
