Kanpur: SO Gonda Anuj Kumar Saini who got suspended for the tussle with the MLA in Uttar Pradesh, said "For the first time in my 11-year career, my uniform has been disrespected, which I will never forget. If I wanted to kill the MLA, I would have called him anywhere else. But after the beating, I said what came to mind". He described himself as innocent and said the case is clean and clear as Ganga-Jal. The CCTV camera of the police station has captured the entire incident. The reality will be in front of everyone when the CCTV footage would be recovered. Anuj Kumar Saini said in his statement that "A conspiracy hatched against him. MLA suddenly came to the police station along with several vehicles. He had more people with him". Keeping in mind the social distancing due to COVID-19 pandemic, all the people were asked to sit outside the office. On this, he abused an old watchman working at the police station. Seeing MLA abusing the watchman he was asked to respect the watchman as he is old. The MLA abused him on this. Before he could understand anything, the MLA slapped and pulled him close with his collar and broke the nameplate. The case is now being investigated.
