According to preliminary reports, one group arrived at the Madhuban police station to address the power cut issue when another armed group, wielding sharp weapons and sticks, stormed the area. Stones were hurled at the gathering, including police personnel, and shots were fired into the air, causing chaos. The altercation ensued after several individuals were allegedly assaulted while inspecting the power cut situation the night before.
