Deoghar: PM Narendra Modi will visit Deoghar in Jharkhand and Patna, the capital of Bihar, on July 12. The Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth over Rs 16,000 crore in Deoghar. Thereafter, he will have darshan and worship at Baba Baidyanath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Baidyanath temple has been developed and given a huge shape. Air service will also be available from the newly built Deoghar airport for Shiva devotees coming here in the month of Sawan. The PM's office on Saturday reported the prime minister's said round. As an important step towards providing direct connectivity to Baba Baidyanath Dham, he will inaugurate the Deoghar Airport. It has been constructed at a cost of about Rs.400 crores. Baidyanath Dham is an important religious place for devotees across the country. According to the PMO, PM Modi will address the valedictory session of the centenary programme of the Bihar Legislative Assembly in Patna on the same day. He will also inaugurate the Centenary Memorial Pillar to mark the completion of 100 years of the Bihar Assembly. With the inauguration, flights of various airlines will start from the newly constructed airport at Deoghar. IndiGo has announced a flight from Kolkata to Deoghar. The month of Sawan, which begins on July 14, has a special significance for Shiva Puja. Lakhs of people arrive every year to have the darshan of Baba Baijnath. After offering prayers to the Prime Minister at Baba Baidyanath Temple and inaugurating the airport, Prime Minister Modi will address the gathering at Deoghar College Ground. Baba Baijnath Temple at Deoghar has been rejuvenated. PM Modi will also dedicate it. This will be the second major launch event after Kashi Vishwanath.
