Raipur: A dead body of a newborn baby and a woman was found hanging on a tree today in Ghughri village under Bagicha police station area of Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Kashyap has informed that in the initial investigation, after hanging a newborn baby just a week old due to a dispute between husband and wife, the mother of that child also committed suicide by hanging herself. In Bagicha police station, investigation is being done on all aspects by setting up a case regarding this matter. On the other hand, Kunwar Sai, Sarpanch of Ghughri village, says that the wife committed suicide after quarreling with her husband. It is being told that the woman Sanmuni Bai had left the house yesterday with her newborn baby after a quarrel with her husband. Today, mourning has spread in the entire area after the dead body of both including the newborn baby was found on a tree away from the village. Police is investigating the matter. The police have taken both the bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem. It is also being told that Sanmuni Bai's husband used to drink a lot. Due to the addiction of drinking alcohol, there was often a quarrel between husband and wife. The relatives had tried to pacify him several times, but the woman's husband used to have disputes with her relatives as well. However, now the police is probing the matter deeply.
