Bhopal: Polling for the second phase of panchayat elections is scheduled to be held on July 1. On this day, the fate of candidates in 7,655 Gram Panchayats of 106 Janpad Panchayats of 47 districts is to be decided. Polling will be held from 7 am to 3 pm. Due to this, there will be a holiday in the constituencies. The administration has made all preparations for it. Police have also been put on alert after some incidents that came to light in the past phase.
Voting will be held on July 1:- A total of 23 thousand 967 polling stations have been set up for the second phase of panchayat elections to be held on 1st July. A total of 31 lakh 44 thousand 27 voters of 7,655 gram panchayats will exercise their franchise. The counting will begin immediately after the voting and the results will also be declared by night. The local administration has been asked to remain alert due to this.
