Mumbai: Maharashtra's politics has once again changed course. Uddhav Thackeray submitted his resignation letter to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari late on Wednesday night even before the floor test. After this, there are speculations that the BJP may form the government in Maharashtra. After Uddhav's resignation, former state CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis tweeted that he will inform about his next move on the political developments in the state on Thursday. According to information, the MLAs of the Shinde faction have reached Goa. 

When asked about the BJP's next move, Maharashtra BJP state president Chandrakant Patil said the next step will be decided by Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde. At the same time, the state BJP unit has asked all its MLAs to gather in Mumbai. He said BJP workers should exercise restraint now. After Thackeray's resignation, the Mumbai BJP tweeted that this is just a tableau, the Mumbai Municipal Corporation is yet to come. It is clear that the BJP is moving towards forming the government in the state and then it has its eye on the BMC.

At the same time, after Uddhav's resignation, Devendra Fadnavis has said that he will release the party's stand on Thursday. At the same time, the BJP convened a meeting of the core committee at Fadnavis house this morning. However, Devendra Fadnavis also held a meeting with the MLAs late last night. He tweeted that a meeting of BJP and independent MLAs was held in Mumbai. During this time, Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Praveen Darekar, Girish Mahajan, Ashish Shelar, Chandrashekhar Bawankule interacted.
