Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh Yadav has passed away. It is being told that Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to Medanta Hospital on August 22 after complaining of breathlessness and low blood pressure, although his health was not improving and on the night of October 1, he was shifted to the ICU, where a panel of doctors was treating him. Earlier, Mulayam Singh Yadav's wife Sadhna Gupta passed away in July this year. In fact, she died after treatment at a private hospital in Gurugram due to a lung infection. Sadhna was Mulayam Singh Yadav's second wife. His first wife Malti Devi passed away in 2003. Malti Devi was the mother of Akhilesh Yadav. Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Medanta Hospital in Gurugram to pay his last respects to Mulayam Singh Yadav's mortal remains.
