Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) patron and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday got corona vaccine dose. Mulayam Singh Yadav took the first dose of corona vaccine at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. Earlier, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav had opposed the the vaccination policy. In January this year, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav had said, "How can I believe the BJP's vaccine, when our government is formed, everyone will get vaccinated free of cost, we cannot get the BJP's vaccine." However, after the second wave of corona, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav changed his tone and demanded that all people get the vaccine for free. In May, Akhilesh Yadav had said that the BJP government at the Centre should soon announce free vaccine to all and give up air borne details about the concrete roadmap with the government to get the vaccine done and by what date the vaccination will be completed.
