Man got his missing purse back after 14 years

Mumbai: In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, a man finds his old purse back. This purse was lost in the local train of Mumbai 14 years ago and at that time there was Rs 900 in this purse. In the year 2006, the lost purse was found by the person after a long gap of 14 years and the police has also returned the amount to the person.

Hemant Pedalkar was traveling in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Panvel local train in 2006, during which his purse was lost. In April this year, Hemant received a call from GRP and was informed that his lost purse was found 14 years ago. However, due to the lockdown implemented due to Corona virus in Mumbai, Hemant could not bring his purse. After the lockdown was relaxed, Pedalkar, who lives in Panvel, went to the GRP office of Vashi and recovered his purse from there and the police also returned the amount kept in the purse to Hemant.

Hemant Pedalkar said that my purse contained 900 rupees, including a five hundred note which was discontinued in the year 2016. The police have refunded Hemant three hundred rupees and the police deducted hundred rupees for stamp paperwork. Hemant said that the police will return the 500 rupee note to him.
