Mumbai Gets nonstop by Air Canada flights from Toronto.

As part of its winter schedule, Air Canada on Tuesday announced the addition of a new seasonal trip from Calgary to Delhi via London Heathrow and a new non-stop daily service from Toronto to Mumbai. With this expansion, the Canadian flag carrier will operate 25 flights each week to and from India.

This winter, Air Canada will fly 25 times a week from Canada to India, providing 7,400 seats weekly overall. According to a statement from the airline, this includes up to 11 weekly flights from

Toronto to Delhi and Mumbai, daily flights from Montreal to Delhi, and daily flights from Western Canada to Delhi via London Heathrow.

Indian airlines' winter schedule runs from the end of October through the end of March of the following year.

"Considering the long-standing and expanding family and commerce ties between our two nations, India is a significant market for Air Canada. In time for the autumn Diwali celebrations, we are excited to build more scale at our hubs and extend our network to Mumbai and Delhi', stated Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President for Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada.

According to Air Canada, Boeing 777-200LR aircraft will fly nonstop between Toronto and Mumbai, while Boeing 787 Dreamliners will fly nonstop between Calgary and London Heathrow and Delhi.
