Mumbai: A brief breath-taking incident has been captured on CCTV cameras at Wangni station in Badlapur, adjoining Mumbai's financial capital. Here the child going with his mother on platform number 1 accidentally fell on the tracks. A local train was coming from the front side on this track. Seeing the child fall on the tracks, railway pointsman Mayur Shelke raced on the tracks and rescued the child very close to the train. This incident at 5 pm on April 17 is captured in a CCTV camera on platform number one. In the video which has appeared, a boy is seen falling on the tracks while walking. After her fall, the child's mother sits there and starts screaming. Meanwhile, Pointsman Mayur Shelke comes forward to help by listening to his voice. Seeing the bravery of Mayur, now everyone is praising him. Mayur says that he is happy that his efforts saved a child's life. Mayur told that 'I was working at some distance from the place where the incident occurred. Suddenly a woman's scream was heard. After this I ran away on the tracks, throwing my luggage there. I could see the train coming from the front, but I was hopeful that I would save the child. A few seconds' delays could have led to his death as well'.
