Mumbai: The Mumbai Police has arrested a minor for stealing luxury goods from a shop in the Colaba area. On being caught, the 17-year-old accused told the police officers that he had stolen only so that he could focus on bodybuilding. The accused needed protein powder, which he wanted to buy with the money he would get after selling the stolen items. He is a resident of Machhimar Nagar located at Cuffe Parade. The assistant manager of the Unicorn store has given a complaint to the police that on January 23, for the first time, he entered the shop posing as a buyer and stole the Apple Watch. Later on January 30, he ran away with an iPad. The senior inspector formed a team to investigate the matter. Colaba police team started an investigation to nab the culprit and recover the stolen goods. A case was registered against the accused under section 380 of the IPC. A police officer has told that the accused is a minor, so the boy has been allowed to live with his parents. He will be produced in the Juvenile Court before the Juvenile Justice Board. At first, the store didn't realize the watch was stolen and later contacted the police when the iPad on display went missing.
