Mumbai-Delhi Police caught 10 lakh fake coins in a joint operation

Mumbai: 10 lakh fake coins of copper and brass have been recovered from the Pushpa Park area located in the area of ​​Dindoshi police station of Mumbai, the financial capital of Maharashtra. It includes coins ranging from Rs.1 to Rs.5 and Rs.10. These coins have been seized from the car of the criminal in a joint operation by Delhi Police and Dindoshi Police.

According to the news received, this coin making factory was being run in Haryana, in which Delhi's Special Cell has arrested 5 persons while taking action. According to the news received from the criminals caught here, these people used to bring counterfeit coins to Mumbai on a large scale and used to take real money in the name of giving them change at religious places. The game of fake coins was going on here for a long time. According to Jeevan Kharat, Senior Police Officer of Dindoshi Police Station, and the team of Special Cell of Delhi Police had come to Mumbai on Wednesday night. Delhi Police said that the business of counterfeit coins is being run on a large scale in Dindoshi police station limits. On the basis of this information, the team of Dindoshi Police Station along with Delhi Police conducted a joint operation at Vallabh A Wing Society of Malad Pushpa Park. From where fake coins were recovered in huge quantities.

Here, 42-year-old criminal Jignesh Gala has been arrested under sections 232, 234, 235, 243, and 120 (b) of IPC. Around 9 lakh 46 thousand artificial old coins have been recovered inside Gala's car. According to the news, Jignesh is also exporting and importing coin making machines for a long time. At present, the Delhi Police have taken away the fake coins along with Jignesh and his car.
