Son stabbed father to death, stabbed 28 times

Jalandhar: An incident of shame on humanity has come to light from Jalandhar in Punjab. Police of Jalandhar's Police Station Cantt and CIA Staff-I have solved the murder of a retired teacher. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the body of retired teacher Tarsem Lal Agarwal, resident Panchsheel Avenue Jalandhar Cantt, was found on the way to Sophie Pind behind the Military Hospital on Tuesday night. The body of the deceased was hit by 28 sharp-armed blows. The case was registered on the statement of Manish Bansal, the nephew of the deceased in Thana Cantt.

Commissioner Bhullar said that a joint team comprising ADCP-2 Parminder Singh Bhandal, ACP Cant Ravinder Pal Singh, ACP Headquater Vimal Kant, ACP Detective Kamaljit Singh and CIA staff in-charge Harminder Singh were formed to open the case. When the police launched a thorough investigation, the input was received, without which the police arrested the accused Sonny son Tilakraj resident Makaan No.21 Mohalla No.4 Cantt from his house.

Police have recovered the knives used in the incident, the purse and cash of the deceased, the RC of Activa and the driving licence of the accused and the pants of the accused who were worn during the incident. Sonny said he had taken Two lakh 80 thousand rupees from Tarsem Lal for treatment of his father. Sonny said the amount had now reached five lakh rupees with interest on non-payment. He gave one-and-a-half lakh rupees to Tarsem. If he could not pay the dues, he decided that he would kill Tarsem Lal and remove the thorn. According to the plan, the accused took Tarsem Lal on the raw road to Sophie Pind and stabbed him to death with a sharp knife.
