PANAJI :: NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu will visit Goa on July 14 to seek support from legislators. At a news conference, Govind Gaude, the minister of art and culture, announced that Murmu would arrive in Goa on July 14 to meet the MLAs. He urged every MLA to support Murmu considering her social work. "It is our obligation to urge every MLA to support her. To help her, we will get in touch with every MLA." The Goa BJP ST Morcha expressed gratitude to BJP national president J.P. Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Murmu for being selected as the NDA's presidential candidate. Murmu, the first woman tribal leader to contest for the country's highest constitutional post, visited Tripura and Manipur on Tuesday and then went to Assam late on Tuesday night. From Guwahati, the she went to Shillong on Wednesday. In all the states, Chief Ministers and other seniors ministers along with leaders received her at the airports while artistes from different communities welcomed her with colourful traditional performances.
