Apart from Instagram and Facebook, this message is also being made viral to people on WhatsApp. The police have also received these messages on the WhatsApp group.'' The group has said through social media that women who do not wear a burqa in public places or take selfies by removing it will also be beaten up to teach them a lesson. The message issued by the Muslim group in the Kannada language reads, "In the basement of the mall, we saw many women doing wrong things by taking off the burqas. Our workers have already warned them. If that happens again, (women) will be beaten up. He also asked parents to keep an eye on them whenever their women visit colleges and other public places.'' The Mangaluru Police Commissioner has said that his team is constantly trying to find out about this group and who are these people.
