'My father should become CM in the interest of Karnataka..', demands Congress leader Yathindra

Bangalore:  A decisive decision will come in the Karnataka assembly elections by late evening today. The counting of votes has started from 8 am. Meanwhile, a big statement of Congress leader and former CM Siddaramaiah's son Yatindra Siddaramaiah has come to the fore. He has said that we will do anything to keep the BJP out of power, in the interest of Karnataka my father should become the CM.   Siddaramaiah, who is a veteran leader of the Congress, has already taken charge of the state. He is contesting from Varuna seat. Along with Siddaramaiah, he has also been an MLA for 8 times. On this seat, V Somanna of BJP, who is the housing minister in the government and 4-time MLA, is in the fray in front of him. Here, the trends show Congress getting majority. In the initial trends of counting of votes, the trend of all 224 seats has come to the fore. In this, Congress seems to be leading on 115 seats and BJP on 78 seats. At the same time, JDS is leading in 26 seats and others in 5 seats.

That is, if there is no major upheaval, then the Congress will form the government, but the issue regarding the CM is already stuck. In fact, Karnataka Congress unit president Shivakumar has created a stir on Friday (May 12) with a tweet indicating whether DK Shivakumar has staked claim for the post of Chief Minister? In fact, just before the results of the Karnataka assembly elections, DK Shivakumar has staked claim for the post of CM somewhere, showing the trailer of his three years of hard work as Congress state president. Now the decision has to be taken by the Congress High Command.
