New Delhi: A notice has been issued by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) for failing to give accommodation details to five Indian players, including Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja, Lokesh Rahul. For delay, BCCI cited 'password disturbance' as the issue. The players to whom the notice has been sent include women star player Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, who are five of the 110 players in the National Registered Testing Pool (NRTP). Speaking to the media, NADA Director General Naveen Aggarwal said that the BCCI has sent an official explanation for its failure to disclose the location information of its five NRTP players. Naveen Aggarwal has said that there are two ways to fill the 'Whereabouts Form' in the Anti-Doping Administrative and Management System (ADAMS) software. Either the players fill it themselves or the committee should fill this form. He has said that in some sports, athletes are not so educated or they do not have internet facility, then they cannot find this 'whereabouts' article of themselves (ADAMS) or upload the information by filling in the form. Naveen Aggarwal said they have to take help of their respective federation. Therefore the federation takes the responsibility of uploading the information form of their place of stay. He said that players also sometimes find it difficult to do this process themselves.
