Karnataka: 1400 migrants sent home in this way

PM Modi has implemented Lockdown 2 to overcome the corona which is going on in its last stages. People are trapped away from their homes in every corner of the country. Every possible help is being provided by the government to take such people to their homes. Now about 1400 migrants in Karnataka have been transported to their district by buses. These expatriates work in a brick company in Hubli. All were stranded there due to the lockdown.

Dr. Purushottam, the Nodal Officer of Covid-19 Task Force said, "A total of 1473 laborers from 8 neighboring districts working in brick manufacturing units of our neighboring district have been sent to their residence by 74 buses."
