Taking care of this, the government has extended the lockdown period all over the country, while Jamia Millia Islamia has ordered the students (girls and boys) to vacate the hostels with immediate effect late Friday. The college management has asked the students to go to their homes as the government has started the facility of transport to take the students trapped in hostels home. The college announced a summer vacation.

The date for filling the admission application form will be increased, its information will be after May 4. In the notice issued by the Registrar AP Siddiqui for the students, teachers and personnel, the decision has been taken to increase the lockdown due to the rescue from Covid-19 and UGC's April 29 guidelines.

It is also being said that the university will open in August for students of various degree programs already studying in Jamia, but it will depend on the corona situation in the country.
