Bhopal: The state's politics has been warmed by an objectionable tweet made by the Congress leader and former minister of Madhya Pradesh to surround the BJP-led central government on Wednesday. BJP has termed this tweet as 'anti-malice' and has demanded action on Jeetu patwari from National Commission for Women. Jeetu is being severely criticized for this objectionable tweet. However, Jeetu deleted his tweet on Wednesday night and expressed regret for his post. Patwari, MLA of Rau assembly seat in Indore district, had tweeted to target the Modi government, that 'Five daughters born instead of a son demonetisation, GST, inflation, unemployment and recession. But 'Vikas' has not been born yet". Many social media users, including BJP leaders and activists, reacted sharply to this tweet, expressing their objection. Tagging Patwari's tweet, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra tweeted that, 'Daughters are the form of Goddess Durga and what is the condition of the Congress for a son that today the party is not in a good condition. Still, you want a son, not a daughter?" Sambit Patra tweeted again to National Commission for Women (NCW) President Rekha Sharma saying, "On this feminine tweet of an elected public representative in which girls are portrayed as unwanted is inappropriate. Pay attention to that. He should not be left without punishment. Reacting to Patra's tweet, Rekha assured to take action against Patwari."
