Those who attack health workers will get strict punishment, know what is the law

A large number of tests are being conducted during lockdown in India. But during the test, there are attacks on the health worker. The government has become very strict about this. To ensure the safety of medical and health workers working as Corona warriors, an ordinance with provisions for strict punishment has come into force for those who attack them.

For your information, let us tell you that the Union Ministry of Law and Justice has implemented the 'Pandemic Diseases (Amendment) Ordinance 2020', declaring acts of assault on health workers and property damage, as cognizable and non-bailable offenses from Wednesday midnight.

The meaning of cognizable and non-bailable offense is that the police can arrest the accused after the crime is registered and the accused can get bail from the court itself. After getting approval from the Union Cabinet to implement this ordinance on Wednesday, it was approved by President Ram Nath Kovind late at night. Shortly after this, the ministry issued a notification to implement the ordinance.
