Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the event through video conferencing and also distributed approximately 70,000 appointment letters to newly hired individuals in various government departments and organizations. "We made the decision to fill 1 million vacancies in the country. Under this decision, we are offering 70 to 80 thousand appointment letters to unemployed youths. The Prime Minister has ordered the fulfillment of 1 million vacancies by August 15. It's a great moment for us as the Prime Minister himself participated in today's event and distributed appointment letters to the newly hired recruits," said the minister. Addressing the audience, the union minister emphasized that over the past nine years, the government has prioritized the recruitment process by making it faster, transparent, and unbiased. "The Employment Fair aims to serve as a catalyst for further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities for youth empowerment and participation in national development. The youth plays a crucial role in the country's overall progress, and I encourage them to strive hard to make a positive impact. They need to be prepared to become job creators rather than job seekers and become 'global citizens' in the future," Reddy stated. Regarding the Prime Minister's target of filling 1 million central government jobs, Reddy provided information, stating, "Modi has set a target of filling 1 million central government jobs within the next 10 months. To achieve this, the Employment Fair is organized every month, and the Prime Minister himself participates in this program, interacting with the candidates. He encourages the youth to seize every opportunity and contribute to the country's development. The Prime Minister inaugurated the 'Employment Fair' on October 22, 2022, as a Diwali gift to the youth of the country. This is the 6th Employment Fair, and more than 430,000 youth have received appointment letters to date."
