NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to distribute appointment letters to approximately 70,000 newly recruited individuals on June 13. The distribution ceremony will be conducted via video conference, as confirmed by an official statement on Monday.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi will also deliver an address to these appointees. The "Rozgar Mela" will take place simultaneously at 43 locations throughout the country. This recruitment process encompasses both Central government departments and state governments.

The selected candidates, hailing from various regions of the country, will join the government in diverse departments such as financial services, postal services, defense, school education, higher education, revenue, and health, among others.

Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of India,  has launched various initiatives to promote employment and skill development in the country, such as Make in India, Skill India, and Startup India. These initiatives aim to generate employment opportunities, enhance vocational skills, and encourage entrepreneurship.
