Uttarakhand: Nature Festival to be held for first time in Chirbatiya

Rudraprayag: Preparations have been started to develop Chirbatiya, a tourist destination located in Jakholi in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand as horticulture tourism. Nature Festival will soon be organized in Chirbatiya, which is among 13 tourist places. This is the first time that a Nature festival will be held at Tourist Place.

The district administration conducted a survey in view of the possibilities of tourism here. After inspection, DM Manuj Goyal has issued instructions to expedite the development plan here. This area is one of the 13 tourist spots of the 13 districts of the state government. Not only in the district of Rudraprayag, but Chirbatiya is also included in Uttarakhand and the finest places of the country. This area is rich in forest wealth and is also inhabited by various species of animal birds. The natural beauty here attracts everyone.

Last year the Bird Festival was organized on the occasion of Christmas Day. In this program, the bird lovers had put on the beauty of Chirbatiya. Now the district administration is seeing possibilities of developing tourism in Chirbatiya by combining Halticulture Tourism, Village Tourism, Eco-tourism and Pedestrian Tourism. In view of these possibilities, Rudraprayag District Magistrate Manuj Goyal has directed to organize Nature Festival in Chirbatiya under the chairmanship of DFO Rudraprayag.
