New Delhi: The picture of Vijay Temple in Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh and the new Parliament House of India are getting viral on social media. Looking at the picture, many social media users are calling India's new Parliament House a copy of the Pentagon of America. But the design of this Parliament building resembles the Vijay Mandir of Vidisha.

The design of the Parliament House being constructed under the Central Vista Project is very similar to the Bija Mandal of Vidisha i.e. Vijay Mandir. The grand Vijay Mandir is triangular, whose design is clearly visible. Looking at the tall base of the temple, its shape and the design of the new parliament building looks the same. This magnificent temple was broken during the Mughal period. This temple was built by the Paramara kings. Which was later broken by Aurangzeb. Now, this temple is under the patronage of Bija Mandal ASI. Cleaning and repair works are going on here for the last few days.

Historians say that Aurangzeb blew it with about 1682 cannons. After which the rule of Malwa came when the Marathas came. An attempt was made to raise it again. Its height was around 100 meters. Its spread over half a mile is said. The design of the country's existing Parliament building also matches the 64 Yogini temple of Morena. Now the design of the new building also matches the Vijay temple of Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh.
