The Union Health Ministry has given this information on Friday. The ministry said that a total of 81,177 patients have recovered from the disease in a 24-hour period. With this, the total number of patients getting infection-free has increased to 47,56,164 and its rate is 81.74 percent. In the country for the 5th consecutive day, less than 90 thousand new cases of covid-19 have been reported. However, total cases of coronavirus have crossed 58 lakh on Friday. According to the data released by the ministry at 8 am, infection cases in the country increased to 58,18,570 after 86,052 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in one day. At the same time, after the death of 1,141 more people in the last 24 hours, the death toll rose to 92,290. According to the figures of the Ministry, the highest number of 34,345 patients were from Maharashtra. At the same time, 9,076 patients have died in Tamil Nadu, 8,331 in Karnataka, 5,558 in Andhra Pradesh, 5,366 in Uttar Pradesh, 5,123 in Delhi, 4,606 in West Bengal, 3,381 in Gujarat, 3,066 in Punjab and 2,122 in Madhya Pradesh so far.
