Mental illness is no more something we seldom do hear about. It has become as common as any other disorder in the medical science. Thanks to our 'pseudo-social lifestyle', about more than 30% of our population is suffering from depression and insomnia. The rise in the data of mental illness demands sincere concern followed by efforts to battle against it. The data also reports the increased no of suicide cases. A major cause behind the multiplying figures of the same is the absence of spaces where people could talk their hearts out. Adressing the issue, Neerja Birla, the Founder and Chairperson of Mpower asserted that it is indeed disheartening to come across suicide cases, everytime you hold a news paper in hand. The lady said that she recently came to know about a fashion blogger who committed suicide. Neerja said that she has been working with a lot of girls and when she hears about one of them ending her life, it is extremely sad. Most of the people react to it as extremely shocking, because the girl seemed to have a fine life and she seemed to be doing great at work. Well what it seems, not necessarily has to be the same. Every human after a certain age is going through a variety of emotions which m,ay be complex enough to be realised.
