The world is growing in multiple terms but there are some faults in growing too. Causes of these critical problems should be decimated and for accomplishing this needed thing world celebrates a day dedicated to spreading awareness all over the earth to control the population. It can be a solution to many future problems that are predicted and can destroy the earth.

The World Population Day was started in 1989 by  United Nations Development Programme and from then, every year on 11th it gets celebrated by every nation to retain the earth alive. The day marks the approximate day on which world?s population reached to Five Billion Day in the year 1987. The day was recommended by then Sr. Demographer of World Bank, Dr. KC Zachariah. Around 90 countries commemorated the day and pledged to consistently follow the day after United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution in 1990 by considering it matter of great importance.

Every year many events are organized to fulfill the motive of this day. Even this issue is highlighted every day by different campaigns to the general public so that they can contribute to the earth.

As per UN data, there are 225 million women who don?t have access to control the pregnancy, even after having the wish to do so. After 2017?s coalition of Family Planning Summit and World Population Day, the next meet would be observed in 2020. For 2020 Family Planning initiative UN has set the aim to provide the access of required services to 120 additional women.

The day should result in changes of conditions and there are changes but they are not fruitful. The public should pay attention to the problem as neglecting such a severe cause can be a start of devastation.
