The spread of corona infection has not yet stopped in Telangana. On Tuesday, 1,481 new Covid-19 infections and four deaths occurred. The total toll stood at 1,319, and the number of positive cases so far reached 2,34,152. As of Tuesday, there were 17,916 active Covid-19 cases in the state.
Recovery rate is also high in the state. On Tuesday, a total of 1,451 people recovered from the corona infection. The state's cumulative Covid-19 recoveries were taken to 2,14,917 with a recovery rate of 91.78 per cent. On the other hand, the recovery rate across the country is 90.70 per cent. In the last two days, 40,081 Covid tests were conducted in the state and another 664 samples were awaited. So far, 41,55,597 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the state, of which 2,34,152 positive tests were conducted and 2,14,917 were recovered.
