Brothers were in depression since mother's death, committed suicide

New Delhi: After mother's death, two brothers suffering from depression hanged themselves with a ceiling fan in their home. According to police, the sensational incident took place in Janakpuri area on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Kunal Agarwal (27) and Gaurav Agarwal (27).

At 12:30 p.m. on Monday, police received information about the incident. According to the police, theirfather has been paralyzed for 20 years and his mother died of cancer on March 23 this year. Afterwards, the two brothers fell victim to depression and became very upset. Meanwhile, about a month and a half ago, the two brothers had gone home without telling them. The incident was then reported to the police on Monday afternoon.

The two brothers graduated from private engineering colleges in Narela and Cerspur in Delhi. His father is a railway contractor and both the brothers cooperated in their work. They were unable to help the father when he succumbed to depression after his mother passed away. After that, he left home about a month and a half ago. They returned home at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. According to the police, a suicide note has also been found saying that no one else is responsible for his death.
